I ran chkdsk. It didn't fix anything
To be more precise about the problem details :
It says:
Normalized value : 100
Worst : 100
Threshold : 50
Value : 237 sectors
Just today it started showing one more error in
"Current Pending Sector Count"
Normalized Value : 100
Worst : 100
Threshold : 0
Value : 1 sector
I guess the sony people replaced mine with a second hand hard disk

because I was told the "Current Pending Sector Count" error is a sign of old age.
And I want to know if a previous hard disk crash could have any role in subsequent hard disk crashes, and if yes, how ?
Please reply someone
Thanks
