What is Intel Rapid Storage Technology? Do I need it?

    If you find that RST takes up a considerable amount of memory, you can stop the service, but you shouldn't uninstall the driver.

    single and multiple drives? this includes external drivers? also improvement? you mean transfer speed ?

    Far as i know that driver is a Utility and is not really needed for anything

    I used it and had more BSODS then i could handle and all signs from the DMP file pointed to that particular driver

    Since then i have been smooth sailing so it isn't needed also when you have Asmedia drivers they work just as good so it shouldn't matter
