Help with Windows 7 CD Rom drives

My OS is Windows 7 Pro 32bit.

I have one internal CD rom drive and I have a Rimage CD burning Unit with two drives that hooks to my computer USB. The Problem i am having is My computer shows 3 CD rom drives but my Internal drive will not read. I can eject it from My Computer but it will not notice there is a CD in the Drive. I have been able to get it to work before buy a combo of restarts and unplugging the Rimage CD burning unit. Is there not just a way for them to all work?
