Sony Blu-ray Drive Won't Play Certain Disc

I have a Sony blu-ray player (model BD-5300S-0B) for my PC. I purchased it about 2 weeks ago and I recently got an error message when trying to play a certain blu-ray disc. The error message says that I need to update my blu-ray player.
How do I go about doing this?? I tried the URL provided in the error message and it got me nowhere.
    Any help would be appreciated.

The software I am using is TotalMedia Theater 5 and it has worked perfectly before. I tried it with one other movie and it worked great.

    1. As an immediate check download the 21day trial version of AnyDVDHD from SlySoft Download | AnyDVD, CloneDVD, CloneCD, GameJackal, Any DVD, Clone DVD, Clone CD, Game Jackal , and try to play the BD with AnyDVDHD running in the background. Are you able to play the movie?

    2. To cope with the latest protection algorithms, your TMT player may need to be updated. Check the Arcsoft website for any recent patches and update it.

It worked. The disc played. I am using a trial version of Arcsoft TotalMedia Theater 5 so I don't really have access to updates. The software cost $100 (which is a bit steep in my opinion) but if I want to watch blu-rays on my PC then I dont have any other choice.
Thank you so much for your response.

You can try DAPlayer. It's free but I found it a bit flaky and don't use it.

So far this works really good. I especially like the "free" aspect. Thanks.
