    Autostart externe HD - want to disable.


    I have 4 External HD, as everytime my start my computer Creates a pop up, with the text "Automatically Play". The function er meget useful when I put a new USB stick I one of my USB ports, but it is quite annoying with the 4 HD as allways is connected and always sits in the same USB-port - feature freedom of the right given this 4 discs ?

    I know what you refer to, but looking how I can disable "autostart" to the USB HD
    as always connect to the computer, but still comes with an autostart frightening every time I start my computer up.

Hello, I am EXTREMELY annoyed after using W7Pro for few years and everytime I plug in a USB HDD, flashdrive, DVD or etc. Windows prompting me asking me for actions. I even tried to use the GODMODE to disable it but no luck. Any idea what else I can do?
DVD won't autostart

I had downloaded the "AVG Rescue Disk" once in January and recently. During a recent check of either DVD the DVD will not autostart and just comes up a setting to "open folder to view files...in Windows explorer".
Hello, This is my first post on the forums and I was wondering if there is any way to have an application run on startup but do so in the background, where it just shows on the lower right task bar? Thanks in advance.

I have a few programs in XP that I needed to create a shortcut, then copy the shortcut to the Startup group, in order for the program to start on bootup. However, I cannot see how to do that in Win7. Any help?
