| | 120hz monitors working with AMD ATI HD3D? Hi All, I've just acquired a new monitor, its an Asus VG236. 23" of glossy 1080p heaven. Can I just say that the colours on this screen are amazing, I looked at a few matte screens and you just cant compare the two... Onto the post topic... So this Asus VG236 is 120hz and nvidia 3D ready...as long as you have an nvidia card and an expensive nvidia 3d kit. However I have an ati card and ATI has their own, less well known HD3D: AMD HD3D Technology My question is: Does this technology work with 120hz displays, or do I HAVE to go the nvidia route to get 3d on this display? -Max |
