    Bloody Canon

Have just done a factory default on a desktop for a friend who hasn't the disposable income for a techie and am giving her a Canon Pixma MP 130 to replace the old one she had before.

Now the rotten machine is telling me it isn't compatible with the Canon disk, and to add insult to injury Canon b****y Canon do not list the drivers for it anymore.

Always had Canon stuff but this is them having a laugh I reckon.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this problem. I know printers are relatively cheap but it seems such a waste of a perfectly usable device, and an expense she can do without.

Need to look a little further abroad. canon.ca does have the driver for that printer,

Drivers & Software - Support & Drivers - Canon Canada Inc.

in both 32 bit and 64 bit.

I've seen it quite a bit with major manufacturers, the regional websites are either missing drivers or the ones they have are older outdated ones, compared with the US site.

    Yeah mate

Yeah Barman will know better in the future.

This is what I like about this forum it's always up to date as down under seems to me at least to lag behind in a lot of things that is readily available in the US and Europe.
