I tried leshcat's drivers, however they seem to have made it worse. BF3 has noticeably lower fps, dropped by 15-20.

I bought this laptop last week, and knew about the switchable graphics, but didn't know I couldn't make the 6650M my primary . I've tried everything everyone said, and like everyone said, still no luck.

I can play games like Shogun 2, Skyrim, BF3 on high but it only notices the Intel HD card and not the 6650M. Kinda upsetting, this laptop is a great laptop for its price (Acer 7750G-6662)

I had spoken to reps on Acer support, and they even took me to level 2 and level 3 and all of them said they had no idea what do to. I told them about creating a ticket for something to do in BIOS, and they said that they'll see what they can do.

I guess we'll have to wait

BIOS 1.20 is out. Still no option for ATI/AMD card only.

I did but have no idea what it fixes. Acer isn't bothering to describe what the update does.

Well did you do the update to BIOS? Because 1.19 caused the computer to run a bit hot, that's why I didn't update it.

Just updated it and no heat diference, before seemed liked it
but it was actualy the ambient temp that was higher and i never noticed it lol.
Dont forget cpu temp can change drasticaly depending of your ambient temp.

Lastly i advice not using turbo boost and just set cpu 99% with power management,
i got no lags with it, can run any games prety fine, on near summer using 98% as it can take less 10C, any demanding game wont lag still and cpu at max workload doesnt pass 55C.
