Just to make sure....
I have two drives C:\ and D:\ and a linux dual boot partition.
For various reasons I would like to wipe my SSD and re-install both of the partitions.
When I come round to re-installing the backed-up image (from the badly aligned SSD) onto the new formatted and clean SSD - will it just re-apply the badly aligned settings from before?
So, would I just be going around in circles?
Does a saved system image contain only the data and not any of the "corruptions"?
I.E. Should you really only install a completely fresh installation and bit by bit install your new programs and tweaks? This will literally take me weeks and weeks....
Hope that made sense!
Thanks!
