    Massive Problems, New Install.

I recently was forced to completely format my hard drive, i then inserted my W7 ultimate install disc and the install went fine, when booting however; i had no drivers. I can find the nvidia geforce drivers but it says "windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter." i have another computer i can download the drivers from, but i have no idea what to look for. this is on a Satellite A665-S6070 by the way. are there any other drivers i will need other than the nvidia and network ones? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! PS. i found loads of drivers here, but i don't know which one i need:

Is this a custom built PC or retail? Which ever the case, you need to go to that vendors site if a retail PC...ie HP, Dell, ASUS and download the all your drivers. If a custom build, go to your mobo website and download all your drivers from there.

I didn't see you link posted...

Yes...all of them and the latest updated ones.

    Shadows Welcome to Sevenforums,

would you help us out by filling out your system specs?
This way we will do a better job of making recommendations and won't need to trouble you with questions which the system specs answer.

Please don't just go charge to do this but rather carefully read the following and then use one of tools provided there.
    Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (3rd item in the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec
    (left-hand column)

To gather info, use SIW or Speccy or System Info

Add the word laptop or desktop or netbook to the
    “system manufacturer” block, for example,
    Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
    MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on the SAVE CHANGES button

I managed to get this fixed, here's how for anyone that is interested: I used my android phone to tether internet as the network driver wouldn't work even for ethernet (using an app that i transferred and installed via usb) then windows update automatically installed many missing drivers including the network one. I then proceeded to install the nvidia driver from their website, and the synaptic website from theirs. everything seems to be working as normal, thanks for all of your help! and i will get on updating my profile, karl.
