Massive Problems, New Install. I recently was forced to completely format my hard drive, i then inserted my Windows 7 ultimate install disc and the install went fine, when booting however; i had no drivers. I can find the nvidia geforce drivers but it says "windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter." i have another computer i can download the drivers from, but i have no idea what to look for. this is on a Satellite A665-S6070 by the way. are there any other drivers i will need other than the nvidia and network ones? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! PS. i found loads of drivers here, but i don't know which one i need: Model Content Page | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate X64 CPU Intel i7QM Memory 4GB RAM |

Is this a custom built PC or retail? Which ever the case, you need to go to that vendors site if a retail PC...ie HP, Dell, ASUS and download the all your drivers. If a custom build, go to your mobo website and download all your drivers from there.
I didn't see you link posted...

I managed to get this fixed, here's how for anyone that is interested: I used my android phone to tether internet as the network driver wouldn't work even for ethernet (using an app that i transferred and installed via usb) then windows update automatically installed many missing drivers including the network one. I then proceeded to install the nvidia driver from their website, and the synaptic website from theirs. everything seems to be working as normal, thanks for all of your help! and i will get on updating my profile, karl. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate X64 CPU Intel i7QM Memory 4GB RAM |
