Windows 7 Startup Repair freezes for 10 minutes then doesn't fix PC?

Hello, I have an Emachines E627 laptop. Last night I was doing some school work on my laptop, but then my laptop freezes, gets the blue screen of death and turns off. I then turned it back on, and the Window's screen pops up, quickly goes to startup repair and then it does the repair thing. After about 5 minutes into it, it freezes for about 10 min, then says: "Your computer will now turn off". So, it turns off, I turn in back on again, it goes to the windows start up screen, and does the same process over again! Please help. I'm not an expert at doing these kinds of things.

I would Check the hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools.

Check your ram.

We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?
