| | Problem installing hardware (Win 7 prompts you to re-install Windows?) Whenever I try to add new hardware to (any of) my PCs Windows 7asks me to reinstall Windows 7. I get a message either at: - the Boot Loader screen (saying there has been a change, Windows needs to be re-installed). - upon login to Windows, where I get a message similar to the previous one. I cant actually remember how I got round it but now I have some RAM i want to install and have this problem to worry about. Is there some sort of procedure for installing hardware in Win 7? I cant remember ever having this problem before (in previous versions of Windows). |
