New X79 Chipset and USB 3.0

I keep seeing that the X79 chipset for the soon-to-be-released SandyBridge E processors won't have USB 3.0, but I see motherboard manufacturers with specs that mention USB 3.0.

USB 3.0 support is out now for some of the current motherboards, right? What am I missing?

Does Windows 7 care one way or the other?

Intel is not going to support USB3.0 on the X79 chipset but I would suspect that MB manufacturers will find a spot on their boards to include a USB 3.0 chip.

I would bet the life of my closest enemy on that. LOL

Seriously, the folks at ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, EVGA will be touting their support of USB3.0 when the release their boards.

As i have USB3 on my X58 mobo from Asus therefore logicaly i would think that it would be strange if they didnt include USB3 on their newer motherboards as it is the future and also is backword compatible.

But then we are talking about manufacturers and thay arnt always logicall

Ok - thanks - that is what I figured since the Motherboard manufacturers say that they will have it on the socket 2011 boards.
