Ghost Drive Appears in Explorer

I was copying data from my USB drive to my PC and while data transfer was still in progress, I physically removed the drive. This created a Ghost Drive. The drive doesn't appear in the Disk Management.

How do I delete this drive? I have attached the screen-shot of my Explorer Window

Darryl,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have restarted my system several times and it still appears.

Try a system restore to a point before you transferred data from your USB drive.

If that does the trick, you then just need to transfer the data again.

Do you have Office 2010 installed on your computer?

Can you go to the Device Manager > View > "Show Hidden Devices"
Then expand disk drives (or where ever you find Q: or unknown device)
Add post a screen shot?
