Samsung Kies error on firmware upgrading

    Samsung Kies error on firmware upgrading


    Hello,

    I have samsung fit phone(s5670) and recently got firmware update via samsung kies .but when i try to update it Kies crashes and give following error.

    I have latest samsung Kies version.I dont know whats causing this error.

    You might try removing and reinstalling Kies. Also try the older version, sometimes newer is not better.
    Perhaps there is a Samsung forum where this issue is addressed too.

    I have latest samsung Kies version.I don't know whats causing this error.
    The green one appears to be a problem with phone, Gt-S5670.
    The red one is a fault with the Kies program I think. A firmware error.

    I would suggest you contact your wireless provider to see if they have some help. I don't have any other ideas for you. I have no Samsung phone or the Kies software.

    Samsung Kies has been a very buggy software from the first version, it was so bad that I no longer use it and just connect to my Computer by USB cable and use mass storage setting.
    If you want to use Kies try the SAMSUNG WAVE FORUM they will be able to help.

    Hey Kodi thanx ...But i think its windows error so i posted it here.I guess Kies sucks but its the only way to get official firmware.

    Went to service centre and they said that there are no issues with phone and there is something wrong with my pc.
    Please Help !!!!!

    Uninstall kies.

    Turn of your AV

    Reinstall Kies

    Turn on your AV

    see if that works. Had a similar issue with the HTC software suite.
