Bluetooth on Win7 Pro 32Bit
Hi All,
So I've got a problem trying to get the bluetooth to work on my Asus 1000HA running 7 Pro. I have a Dell Mobile 360 BT module installed and before running Professional, I had the RC version of Windows 7 Ultimate. And my Bluetooth was working just fine then. I was able to find all my devices. However, after reformatting and installing Windows 7 Pro, I can't seem to get bluetooth function properly anymore.
Windows is able to pick up the module just fine, but I can't search for any devices. So I picked up a CSR Bluetooth adapter thinking it was just a bad module. Windows 7 was able to find that just fine, but the same issue occured, just like the 360 module.
I tried plugging the dongle into my desktop, which is also running a legal copy of Windows 7 Pro. It found the adapter, installed drivers on its own, and I was able to use my bluetooth mouse perfectly. So this leads me to believe that it might be a driver issue on my EEEpc.
I tried askking on the EEEpc forums, but it seems that no one is able to help, so I thought I'd take my chances here. Anyone know what might be what's up?
-Note-
For the desktop, I did a full reformat and install, but for the netbook, everything from the Windows 7 RC was moved to a Windows.old folder. I'm thinking that may also have something to do with it?
