Folks,
I'm running a home network, wired, through a switch. I have 3 computers and 2 network printers. Two computers are Windows 7/64, one is Vista/64. The printers are both HP's, on Officejet L7680, the other an old Laserjet 4L.
The Laserjet 4L is the problem printer. It has an old parallel cable connection. I've hooked it up to an ethernet adapter, a Trendnet TE100-P1P.

All 3 computers, let's call them 'A', 'B', and 'C', can see and print to the L7680. Two of them, A and B, a Windows 7/64 and the Vista/64 can see and print to the Laserjet 4L, as well.
The third computer, C a Windows 7/64, cannot print to the Laserjet 4L. It can access the trendnet ethernet adapter by typing the TCP/IP address in IE. I've run the setup utilities, and I've tried Window's "add a printer". All to no avail.
The computer has access through the network to the printer. Yet, it doesn't recognize the printer.
I have an identical OS which can use the printer: is there a way to use the working Windows 7/64 computer to "cheat" my unworking Windows 7/64 computer into seeing the printer?
This is a bit frustrating.
Thanks.
