    Should i put the swap on the HDD ?


    Should i put the swap on the HDD ? I have 1 SSD OCZ Vertex 2 and 2 x HDD WD 6400 AAKS.
    What do you think, guys ?

    Windows 7 would run faster on the SSD.

    Your question is kinda hard to answer without knowing how big your SSD and HDs are or how much space is free on them.

    Still, I'd put the pagefile on the SSD and set it manually to a size of maybe 4GB or 5GB.

    I have a 120GB Vertex 2 SSD and 8 GB RAM. I have chosen to keep the page file on the SSD. I set the size to 1024MB and everything seems to run fine.

    I left swap file (managed by Win7) on SSD. No problems.

    SSD- OCZ Vertex 2 50 GB
    2 X WD 6400 AAKS - 640 GB each
    On each WD i have about 250 GB free space.
