HD Partion Problem - Unable To Shrink

    Hello All
I am trying to create a 50GB partition on my HD.
However when using Win7 Disk Management its
    telling me the following:
    *****************************************
    Total size before shrink (MB)----------------476938
Size of available shrink space (MB)----------9594
Enter the amount of space to shrink (MB)----9594
    Total size after shrink (MB)-----------------467377
    *****************************************
When I try to change the amount I want to change the
amount in the enter line and hit enter nothing happens
The only amount that works is 9594.
Could some one help me with this problem.

    Thanks.
    Ralph:)

You'll probably have to use a tool like Partition Wizard boot disk.

Disk Management doesn't work well in all cases.

    Thanks For the reply.
Looks like I may have to try this.
I tried to defrag the drive and it did not work.
