graphics card compatibility with new motherboard

Hi,

I just upgraded my motherboard from the m4a78 to the asus m5a78L. However i now have issues with FPS lag that I never had with the older motherboard ?

Am i missing something here because surely updating to a much newer motherboard shouldn't have issues ?

Thanks for any help I receive

Actually, yeah, it would...sometimes you'll be forced to reinstall Windows from scratch if it can't adjust to the new motherboard.
Did you perform such a reinstall? Did you install the correct chipset drivers for the new board?
