    External Monitor No Signal


    Hey guys im new here my external monitor is not picking up any signal its detected i think it showed up as display device on vga i cannot change the resolution and when i try to extend it says unable to save display settings

    I am using a cyberpower pc ATI Radeon HD 6800 series everything is updated
    win7 home prem 64bit some one please help with this

    Welcome to SevenForums!

    Go to Control panel > Display > Adjust resolution
    What do you see there when you have it conneted?

    Please be patient, if anyone knows the answer they will let you know in a few days.

    I think that the other device it is not recognized at all, just the output. Turn on the external monitor and plug the vga(dsub) cable into it, it should show up like this:

    ok well i got it working but with my xbox 360s hdmi cable looks like im gonna have to buy another hdmi cable vga cable is crap o.o
