I don't know much about the board, but the specs look good. Hope you are happy with it.

To be honest, i really like the specs. I really want to get a better PC than my current one.

Does it look like it can do SLI?

It only has 1 piceX16 slot. Just buy a better card and run 1.

YTBOY83,
No SLI but yes on the Crossfire you have 1 x16 blue and 1 x4 black PCIe slots. You will take a performance hit with the 1 x4 slot and likely would be better as mentioned to upgrade mobo or stay with one premium GPU !

Using its slightly bigger brother right now,

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS M5A97 EVO

has a couple of more USB and SATA ports on it, and have been very pleased with it so far and had zero problems with it. It will run CrossfireX, but not SLI.

If you want SLI you have to go up to the other board you linked to, or any other 990X/990FX motherboard. And yes the second one you linked too does both.
