I don't know much about the board, but the specs look good. Hope you are happy with it.

To be honest, i really like the specs. I really want to get a better PC than my current one.

Does it look like it can do SLI?

It only has 1 piceX16 slot. Just buy a better card and run 1.

YTBOY83,
No SLI but yes on the Crossfire you have 1 x16 blue and 1 x4 black PCIe slots. You will take a performance hit with the 1 x4 slot and likely would be better as mentioned to upgrade mobo or stay with one premium GPU !

Using its slightly bigger brother right now,

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS M5A97 EVO

has a couple of more USB and SATA ports on it, and have been very pleased with it so far and had zero problems with it. It will run CrossfireX, but not SLI.

If you want SLI you have to go up to the other board you linked to, or any other 990X/990FX motherboard. And yes the second one you linked too does both.

This problem has the configuration listed in my system specs below, which have just changed recently. My OCZ Vertex 2 died, RMA'ed but sold, and replaced with the Transcend SSD720, 2.5" SATAIII 64GB. Also sold my GPU... Now, trying to get everything back on track. I reinstalled my OS on...

Hey guys, not entirely sure if this is the right section but I'm considering selling my 1366 chipset. I run an I7 960 at 3.2ghz stock, some pretty average 6gb corsair ram and an Asus P685D-E mobo. And have a thermaltake chaser mk-1. I'm considering upgrading in two weeks. I already have 3...

MOBO baked. Need to maintain 7 OS and files from HD on new MOBO
I have read several posts about issues with this already. I had an ECS P4M800 Pro-M V 2.0 with a Pentium 4 2.88. I had a primary and secondary hard drive as well as a DVD RW on it. My brother-in-law originally build the computer some years ago. I got the dreaded call the other day, "Honey,...
