| | windows7 poffessional wont see my external 2tb seagate drive hi new to this ill try not ramble! my laptop runs on Windows 7 proff and have set up seagate hard drive connected into my wireless router(also plugged drive directly into LAN port),using seagate dashboard the drive is visible but to acsess it through windows explorer no drives other than internals are visible have pinged drive and its thier! so tryed same on my sons laptop running on Windows 7 ultimate and the drive is visible and acsess able through windows explorer straight away!! is this a problem with Windows 7 proff or do ineed to get Windows 7 ultimate (best part of £200) so any ideas have updated windows an still no joy also not vissible in disk management Last edited by spacechimpmatt; 10-25-2011 at 04:59 PM.. |
