Yeah, the light on the enclosure is on and everything, so I don't think it's a problem with that. | My System Specs |

If the disk won't spin up, there is nothing you can do. It is broken. If you think it might be the enclosure, you could put it back in the notebook and see if it works. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built- Always under construction OS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 X64/ linux in VM CPU Intel i7-3770K Motherboard Asus Maximus V Extreme Z77 Memory 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws Z DDR3-2400 (2X4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GTX 670 SC 4GB Sound Card On Board Monitor(s) Displays Asus 24" LCD Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Logitech G500 PSU CORSAIR AX850 Case Cooler Master HAF X Cooling Custom Water Cooling Hard Drives Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 830 256GB, Samsung HD103SJ 1TB . Sorry I couldn't help. But, if you decide to put it back in the notebook and it does work, leave it in. Boot from the installation disk, at the first screen, do not select your language, hold down the shift key and press F10. You will get a command prompt and can do exactly the same thing. Then close it out and replace it with the SSD. You will know it is the enclosure or that it was not connected to the enclosure correctly. That is the best I can do.
