If the disk won't spin up, there is nothing you can do. It is broken. If you think it might be the enclosure, you could put it back in the notebook and see if it works.

Sorry I couldn't help. But, if you decide to put it back in the notebook and it does work, leave it in. Boot from the installation disk, at the first screen, do not select your language, hold down the shift key and press F10. You will get a command prompt and can do exactly the same thing. Then close it out and replace it with the SSD. You will know it is the enclosure or that it was not connected to the enclosure correctly. That is the best I can do. Sorry I couldn't help.

i have the same problem, but i can see it, the only thing is that it shows like the HDD is 500GB and it realy is an 750GB, what to do???
Right click computer, select manage, in the left column select disk management, expand it so that the top and bottom show and post a screenshot in your next post.
this is my error, and my hhd is working preoperly.... any sugestions????
sorry i didnt notice your first reply, so i did what you asked me to do. this are the screenshots you asked me for, i tried everithing and nothing seems to work, i even swap the ssd for the hdd in my laptop and tried to format the hard drive from a recovery disk and NO, any thoughts???
