How to stop smartcard scanning
How do I prevent Windows 7 from scanning a smartcard at insertion in a reader ?
When a smartcard is inserted in a reader, Windows 7 sends a bunch of SELECT ordrers to the card, trying to identify the type of card.
This process interferes with the payment process I try to manage on a credit card. How can I prevent Windows to behave this way ?
