samsung hdd, in rosewill esata enclosure doesnt work

hey i have two machines, one is a windows 7 64bit, and the other is windows 7 enterprise 32 bit.

both machines will not allow me to use my hdd, by esata or USB 2.0.
i keep getting this in device manager

i really need a solution to this.

my desktop is the more important one. it is in AHCII mode, and i have the drive plugged into to an external port, that is connected to the esata port on my Mobo

Have you tried turning the machine off, plugging the hard drive in and powering it on, then start the computer? Also, your C drive could use some more space.

After connecting your external HDD either through ESATA or USB port, if the external HDD does not appear in windows explorer, you may have to go to the Disk Management (right click on Computer and select Manage - Disk Managment on left side of screen) and check whether the HDD appears in the Disk Map.

If it appears and without a drive letter, assign a free drive letter (right click on the external Drive map and select Change Drive Letter and Paths...).

Now check to see in Explorer the HDD appeared or not.
