if you're looking for the manufacturer, I don't know. But it looks like it says DDR if that is what you are asking. How come you want to know the brand? throw it into some computer that takes it, see if it works, if not, toss the bad boy at a train or something. If it does work, toss that bad boy at a train or something, and buy DDR3

Thats a shame. Well, DDR shouldn't be too expensive now to get a couple sticks if you really do need it, just in case this one doesn't work. Hope everything works out for ya (here the prices are an average of 25$)

    KO

Yeah eincoder I found it very late last night - some company in India - that the one you found?

Very difficult site to get around and I still couldn't find any details on that particular stick.

Actually Dusty it came out of some recycled machines I get from the local council - and have a ton of it (RAM plus GPU's opticals PSU's etc) only most of the RAM tends to be 256MB sticks or if I get lucky 512GB and I was looking at 4GB in the four slots.

I do that because I fix friends machines for nothing if I can as most of them are not well paid work colleagues (nurses cleaners etc) and cannot afford the techies. Plus it keeps down the cost of what is needed for updates repair speed etc.

That doesn't mean I am an expert by any stretch of the imagination but I can usually get them going again and it keeps me out of mischief and it puts a smile on their face which is worth more than money could buy - priceless.

Nah mate I've always been interested in electronics / photography / anything that smacked of physics since I was 10 and used to love those glass tubes that started to glow when my Grandfathers battery powered radio used to fire up - got into building stereos / devices from dedicated bits - transistors - chips - and computing is just a natural evolution for me:)

Just blows me away when I used to make an amp from say 3 vacuum tubes or 5 trannies and now we talk in billions of transistors - I just LOVE it!!

Still I ended up a Registered Nurse and should have done something in electronics which is why I am flat out trying to get up to some sort of speed with you blokes - fantastic crew - no BS!!
