Windows 7: The Missing Pieces!

On my SSD at home, everything is installed and runs from it. On my laptop, it's the only hard drive that I have..so everything must run from it. I expect the drive to last at least 5 years...which is longer than I will want to own or use it. I don't worry about lifetime at all with an SSD. Not a concern in the least.

Thank you guys!

Here's what I will consider:

Corsair Force Series 3 Solid State Disk 120 GB (as I'm a Corsair fan).

ENGTX560 Ti DCII TOP/2DI/1GD5 (as I'm an Asus fan).

So I got my card, and it's terrific! The temperature is awesome and everything. It removed half of the lags in-game.

The lag goes like in the same rhyme, and maybe the same rhyme as the HDD activity actually.

And remember, the only thing I haven't replaced the past month, is the HDD, and it's like 3, 4 years old.

Windows, the game, everything is on the HDD right now, as it's the only disk I have installed currently.

Also, as the HDD is so expensive these days, so I might consider a Corsair Solid State 120 GB.

What's your opinion?

Get the SSD regardless! You won't regret it!

I'm thinking about getting a second force 3! And going completely SSD.

I couldn't say for sure, but would doubt it.

When playing games majority of information is stored on the RAM, only time the hard drive is used a lot would be when a new level loads.

It's pretty weird.

The RAM is also brand new, so is the rest of the computer except HDD.

Hmm..

Hard drive's DVD Player destroyed the disc into pieces
I think this goes here. Just now, I was playing a PSX game when all of sudden, I heard a loud pop from my hard drive and then it restarted. The tray was stuck, and I couldn't get the game out for a while (I knew it took a little moving of the front just to open it to pop in a disc, but that...

Invalid Activation Key after putting in several new pieces of hardware
Last weekend I updated some old hardware in my computer (New Motherboard, CPU,Graphics Card, and Harddrive) so I had to do a re-install of my Windows 7 Home premium 64bit. I had to go dig out my windows 7 CD, and I've had the activation key sticker on the side of my box for years, so I used the...

Where is all my SSD space going? Missing pieces in hidden files
I have a 128gb Intel SSD. I don't have much installed, the three biggest folders are for Battlefield 4 (45gb), My Documents (23gb) and Windows (25gb) I think. The My Docs folder is way too big....I looked into it and could not find anything. Hilighting all of the files shows about 12gb of files...
