Windows 7: Can 9 cell Battery stay up 9 hours ?

The 6 cell battery for my wife's HP is listed at .7lbs. Her new 12 cell battery is 1.7lbs. So, it added 1lb. Which is a lot, if you are talking about a 5lb laptop..about 20% of the total weight.

You need to be much more specific

What 15" with what processor, etc. You can get all the info from the mfr of the computer you are considering.

These are high estimates. My usual time on a Dell 15" with 9 cell battery is usually around 5 hours.

Go to the mfr. They are the most accurate source of info for your system. You can actually calculate how long it would last if you really want to do a ton of work.
