XBox 360 Wireless Controller Receiver Not Recognized After Reset

Hi guys, this is driving me crazy. After I reset (or boot up) my computer the receiver's light is off and the device is not recognized in device manager. I have to unplug it and plug it back in, then it works.

I have a nice fresh Win 7 Pro install and my controller is brand new.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and also tried different USB ports, to no avail.

What should I do ? Thanks.
