    Problem in PC not booting-up after new cooler installation


    I bought a new cooler and a new atx case after moving my PC to my new case and installing my new cooler my PC wont start... well my PC still runs, fans, gpus, cpu fans, led lights etc. only my monitor and keyboard & mouse lights wont start, I also tried using a different monitor but to no avail... any ideas?

    Are you getting any beep codes? I'd try reseating the GPUs, memory and check all your power cables.

    it doesnt beep, might i have fried my cpu if i accidentally put the cpu-fan connector to my motherboard the opposite way?

    If no beep(s), you're not completing POST. That generally equals hardware problems. I don't know about the fan; I thought the connectors fit only one way but I doubt it hurt the MB. Worst case is it fried the RPM inductor in the fan. Or you broke a trace.

    Did you recheck all power connections and the GPU cards?

    Yes I have reseated the gpus and rams it still runs and no beeps but still no monitor... both of my gpu fans works too when I boot up my system I'll try checking the cables now

    Did you connect the CPU power shown in the sqare?

    Yes I have connected cables, the motherboard lights up, the fans run.. but still nothing happens.

    Also when I turn on my PC my Antec Kuhler 920 led lights up red (the logo attached to the cpu is supposedly to have led) then turns off, is it supposed to do that?
