How do i choose default app for scanner

Oh come on, what's up with this? will i have to go digging in the registry? I'd llike the standard windows fax and scan program when i click the hardware button on my scanner not photoshop, that feels like overkill for regular documents.

One question, When you installed the scanner software, did it give you the option of specifying your viewing or editing program? Some do and some don't.

Ah, I didn't install any software for the scanner. I figured I could just use windows built in for once.
So I suppose you're gonna jsut tell me to use Canon's instead, which yeah I could but I like a puzzle

I don't know about the Canon but my HP AIO doesn't need a program to copy. In fact, the PC doesn't even need to be on--Just the printer. I suspect if you select "Take no action" when the copy button is pushed, the printer will scan the original and print a copy on it's own.
