    Core i7 870 "Lynnfield" beats Core i7 920

Core i7 920 will be sent to the census, when Intel on very short time close up of the otherwise less denominated Core i7 870 and Core i7, will then have the final push of the Lynnfield models.

The reason is simple, a higher default rate, and especially Turbo Mode Frequency ensures the highest Core i7 model 800 series victory over the smallest model in the Core i7 900 series in the first test of Lynnfield with PCOnline. This happens despite the latter's superior RAM bandwidth because the X58 chipset and its additional memory channel.

Thus similar to Intel's final sentence for Core i7, which Intel has already sent on a slippery slope because in June introduced a new Core i7 stepping and introduced two new models to replace the Core i7 965 and 940 were left Core i7 920 continue without speed improvements or a reduction in price.

Core i7 and Lynnfield lose contrast in the memory test, due to the reduction of memory channels from 2 to three, which reduces RAM bandwidth by 33% - a good sign of how little RAM bandwidth means for desktop applications. Even here, however, are divided hiding out to Core 2, which achieves small 20% less RAM maximum bandwidth at the same DDR3-1333 memory.

I wonder what this means. When they say "designed for the lynnfield CPUs" does this mean it will be better than any other DDR3 RAM?
