My laptop was recently having a lot of problems and it seemed to be from a faulty hard drive. I was unable to find my operating system disks which I know may cause a problem in the future. I got my hard drive replaced by a local computer repair business and they replaced the faulty drive as well as uploaded a version of Windows which I'm not completely sure of the specific version yet. I have noticed some differences the format of the default windows preferences and when I tried to connect another monitor via a VGA cable it won't display it. Before there was always an option for an extended display but now a drop down menu for resolution and display. I also never had to install any
drivers or anything it would just recognize it and I could do what I please. It still says that I have Windows Home Premium but I still don't have the option.
Here are my computer stats from dx.diag.exe-

I am currently trying to find out what this local computer repair business uploaded on my computer and will post it as soon as I found out. If there is any other information that you might need to help me figure out this problem please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
