XBOX 360 Controller - Joystick wiggles

    Hello all,

The other day when i was playing Richard Burns rally i noticed my left joystick does'nt go back its deadzone when moving from it from side to side and if i go up or down it hangs to the left.

I have also been into the controller calibrator (in control panel) and i notice it there.

It does it with all games and the callibrator and getting very annoying.

I can't send it back for RMA and don't have a reciept as i bought it off EBAY.co.uk and i have it for some 6 months now.

The reason i never noticed it before was because of playing GTA IV and (as you probably know) never needed to keep the cars straight.

What i am asking is, does anyone else have this problem andd if so, i think its a manufacturing default. if not then its probably mine and i need a new one. I have never dropped it either. i always look after my things.

    Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, it sounds like a replacement job.

My original wireless controller I got with my console does a similar thing, although not to the extent of yours. It's probably amanufacturing fault, although that controller saw a lot of use.

My wired controller I use with the PC "jitters" in the calibration screen, but it does return from deadzones etc.
