i found another processor...
Newegg.com - AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 3.6GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor FD8150FRGUBOX
allot of bench marks say it is in the same ball park as the 2600 and 2600k, especially in fps it seems to out perform. but like i said in my last post, some people have had problems with it. and the price is about 50 dollars off from a 2600, so am i making a good choice if i where to do this or would it be better just to wait till i get paid again and try to go for the intel i7?

just noticed somthing, ican find NO GOOD MOBOS, and fast! not a single lga 1155 that does not have outragously placed PCIe or have 3 REASONABLY placed ones. anyways, ultimatly i want more pcie 16 than the others, i like my pcie 1 and 16 stuff and would rather not hinder it because whoever designed a board screwed up, so the question is still. is an intel i7 worth the graphics and sound sacrifices? or do i keep with amd so i can run my sound card and 2 graphics cards?

Judging from what you have said in your other posts in this thread, you would not be happy with an Intel processor. You have stated you are "tired of Intel" and "do not care for Intel". So go with AMD. Why fight it? Get what you clearly prefer, by your own words.

thank you, and its looking more and more like i will. but if i have the best amd has to offer, and i dont know it, its not helping me to downgrade thinking im upgrading. and if the amd processor i get is glitchy for some reason id like to know before i buy if you know what i meen. i think it would be benificial to know from someon who hopfuly has the fx i was looking at, to find out what they say about it, not if its better or worse, or if its the worst one they have, but is it high enough up there not to be the thing every one would perfer not to have, or preferibly, is it somthing that gamers in fass would buy. if allot of people out of the majoraty want it, it shows the product is not being too blown out of perportion in most cases. so if i can get someone to post who has an fx who could vouge... or not for it, id appreciate it

so i found one i think i want, the comments lead me to belive its prety good

Newegg.com - AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Six-Core Desktop Processor FD6100WMGUSBX

or

Newegg.com - AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor FD4100WMGUSBX

both these looked good, but as usual, i would expect the x 6 to be good, but the x4 has better reviews the ive seen. also im a bit new to overclocking and really dont want to screw anything up, if anyone would mind teaching me a little bit on how to safely overclock my current or new processors to be more efficient, it would be much appreciated

You can get some overclocking info on the overclocking section of this site, but your best move is to google for forums that specialize in it, particularly with AMD platforms.

thank you, so that narrows down to the other question in my last post, which of the two processors i had posted would you think i should buy, both are really good according to the comments, but i dont know that much about buying processors and dont know if one would be a "obvious choice"

Hello, Over the past week or so my PC has had a habit of crashing with notably the display switching off immediately and no mini-dumps being created. I decided to see whether a faulty was at work so I ran the driver verifier at least 4 - 5 times. Didn't take long for the results to show up. The...
