Memory Banks installation

Hello

I just installed HWINFO64 from HWiNFO64 Download

_______________________________________________________________________

Looking at my PC spec. I see that my memory modules are plugged like
Bank 0: 2GB
Bank 1: 1GB
Bank 2: 2GB
Bank 3: 1 GB

Meaning
Bank 0 and 2 hold my 2GB modules
Bank 1 and 2 hold my 1GB modules

Is it normal or they need to be Bank 0 & 1 to hold 2GB and 2 & 3 to hold 1 GB

Martin

Martin,

Yes, that arrangement is completely normal, although technically I couldn't tell you why. I'm sure some mobo/ram wizard can explain this.

Regards,
Golden
