| | Installing older lexmark printer on new windows 7 Home Hi all, I maintain a computer club in a retirement area. One of our members attempted to install a two year old Lexmark printer on a barnd new Windows 7 Home computer. He could not get it done, tried many things including removein a re-installing. The problem was solved by the users Son who solved the problem by dis-abling Norton and the built in firewall. I am using Windows 7 Pro and have done this same thing with Older Lexmark, HP and Canon printers, never had to disable anything. Can anyone suggest the reason for the solution?? |
