    right click problem

hey guys, i`m having issues with my mouse. the problem is when i got to right click to save a image or open a link in a new tab the right click does nothing. if i click a link with the left button sometimes it will open in a new tab. if i right click in my favourites it will work so i can open page in a new tab. it works fine on my desktop it just happens for saving online images and online embedded links.
i`ve run spyware scans and virus scans as well as restarting my pc and restore point but it does nothing. i`ve looked on my mouse settings and can see anything wrong there but it seems i`m missing something.
    any help would be great

are you sure its a problem with the mouse? have you tried using another mouse?
    which browser are you using?
also try this SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

I'd suggest you to do a full scan with Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows
    and post back results
