Please help - Windows 7 64 with Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE

Hi all, hoping some windows people can help as the Android people cannot so far, this is a PC problem. thanks for looking

Essentially my phone cannot connect with my computer, it's not the phone, as it will connect quickly and easily to a laptop running XP Pro and a desktop running Windows 7 32 bit.

I have a Intel 2500K on a ASUS P8P67 B3. When I turn the phone to USB Mass Storage mode (making the unit into 2 flash drives one internal and one called external which is my 32gb microSD card) and plug it into my computer I see 2 removable drives, say G and H - neither can be accessed and I get "please insert disk" when I try.

When I plug it into the other computers I get 2 removable disk "Autoplay" pop ups and there's an option to view folders, I never get that with my machine.

So, should I be resetting USB ports, or looking into windows autoplay settings? I'm not a pro
