    How is SEASONIC 520W (S12II-520)?

I'm thinking of upgrading to SEASONIC 520W POWER SUPPLY 80+ BRONZE (S12II-520), the only other options are of Corsair TX series [outta my budget] and GS series[]. considering my hardware load, what say ye wise people?

Seasonic is a main manufacturer of power supply and makes some models for other vendors like Corsair. Seasonic is a top tier brand.

They make very good power supplies.

I've never "owned" one, as I'm a corsair fan, but seeings as they make corsair PSU's then technically I do lol

Here is a review on that model from Johnny Guru. He does a lot of testing and put the PSU through some tough tests.

    Summary
In what is likely the highest scoring group regulated unit I have ever tested, Seasonic has something really special here. A nice, quiet, efficient, and well performing unit that is affordable for just about any budget. Go forth and buy one, loyal readers.
    The Good:

    • easily held Bronze efficiency, even to unrealistically low load levels
    • extremely low ripple and noise for a mid grade unit
    • nice documentation
    • a shallow unit for space challenged cases
    • looks great

    The Bad:

    • let's get rid of that zip tie around the cables outside the case, shall we?

I have the HX 650 and the HX 750 also. But, the velvet bag makes Corsair better.

I have the Seasonic M12 II (520W). High quality brand, efficient and appears to perform well. It meets my power requirements with margin but the 620W may have been a better choice.
