| | HARDDISK not bad sector hello I'm back again with his brand problematic disks WD Scorpio Blue. bootscreen loading resulted in a very long time and finally did not find the drive... how to fix that  |

| | If you would please list the modle number of your laptop, so we can see if it's a PATA or SATA drive. Or the exact modle number of the drive. http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/SpecSheet/ENG/2879-701278.pdf If it's a PATA drive make sure that the little jumper on the drive is set to master or cable select. http://support.wdc.com/images/kb/scorpio_jumpers.jpg Thanks Fabe |
