Missing file when trying to initialize HDD

Hi everyone, I have a couple Sata HDD previously formated on a NAS, now I am trying to use them individualy on an external HDD encloser, but when I try to initialize the HDD, the sistem response is Can not find the especified file.
THis is a translation since my sistem is in spanish. I have no idea on how to proceed and at the actual prices on HDD I really want to get those units back to work
    Thanks in advance

Drives that have been formatted on a NAS or even different pc's many times will not be picked up by Windows 7 and the best way I found to fix that is to just delete the partition and reformat the drive. Sometimes Windows 7 will not even do this and when that happens then I use gparted which is a free tool to delete the partition and then Windows will be able to detect the drive and you should be good to go.

Thanks mgp1964, I pluged that HDD on XP machine and everithing worked out, then plug it bak on W7 and it runs fine now, I guess I have been messing arround with the Win7 Machine too much and now it probably needs a serious cleaning.
Thanks a lot for your help I will test gparted with 2 HDD that I was about to discard
