An Intel 320 120GB SSD drive.
All my voracious reading uncovered some tidbits that helped me make this choice. And, the choice to buy 120 GB vs 80 GB even though 80 GB is even enough.
I plan on waiting maybe another firmware release before I install (what with the 8 MB bug currently). | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 CPU AMD Phenom II X2 (dual-core) Motherboard GA-MA785GM-US2H Memory 4G Graphics Card integrated ATI HD 4200 Sound Card integrated Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 24" Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Digital Media Pro Mouse Logitech WIRED! It is possible you have the new FW version already.
I put it on mine weeks ago.
Really easy to update. Here are the links at Intel.
Released back in September 2011.> http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...eng&iid=dc_rss
The top download on the page is the iso you burn to CD.
Second down is the pdf with instructions.
I had no data loss or anything.
Mike
This page has all the downloads listed including the new Toolbox and Imaging software. http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support...ssd320-120gb25

That bug has been squished already.
As mentioned, you can go ahead and download the latest FW and burn it to a CD.
Just flash it right out of the box just to be safe. This is what I did with mine, and mine updated without issue.
Not even sure what FW it had originally, but Ive had no issues out of mine. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom (Self Build) OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit CPU Intel Core i7 2700k Motherboard eVGA P67 SLI Memory 8GB Mushkin Redline Ridgebacks @1866 Graphics Card EVGA GTX570 SC Sound Card XiFi Titanium HD Monitor(s) Displays LG W2453V Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Saitek Cyborg PSU Seasonic x750 Case Corsair 600T SE White Cooling eVGA Superclocked CPU Cooler Hard Drives Intel 320 80GB -- Intel X25-V 40GB --WD Black 1TB x2 -- WD Blue 640GB Antivirus Kaspersky Browser IE Other Info LG BD/DVD |

Not even sure what FW it had originally, but Ive had no issues out of mine. Everything I read said the firmware update did not fully fix the 8 MB bug as some got it after applying the firmware. The build date on my box is 11/15/11 or somewhere thereabouts.
I also meant I'd wait to install until after the next firmware update (i.e. next one AFTER the attempted 8 MB fix). | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 CPU AMD Phenom II X2 (dual-core) Motherboard GA-MA785GM-US2H Memory 4G Graphics Card integrated ATI HD 4200 Sound Card integrated Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 24" Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Digital Media Pro Mouse Logitech WIRED!
