Windows 7 - samsung nc 10

ok so i have this samsung nc10 in front of me, it's running windows 7 hp, the screen went dark a while back so i ordered a new screen and wiring loom.

both are new and unused.

fitted and all done, the netbook still works yet the previous display issue is still present.

i've made sure the latest display drivers are installed and tried the sumsung easy display manager to resolve the issue, it works fine plugged into an external monitor just not on it's own display.

any ideas would be great
