windows 7
Boot from the Windows 7 installation disk and delete all partitions. Those OEM partitions apparently can't do you any good now and cannot return you to Vista, even if you wanted to do that.
Clean the HD Drive first.

What "recovery" are you talking about? You can't do a "recovery" to Vista unless you use those CDs you said you had yesterday.
Going from where you are now to a fresh install of Windows is not a "recovery".
When you do the clean install, it should show your C drive and both OEM partitons.
You would delete all partitions and then make 1 new C partition, covering the entire hard drive.
You told us 10 minutes ago you wanted to install Windows 7.
Now you say you want to use the recovery DVD and return to Vista.
Make up your mind.
Take a deep breath. Take another.
Relax.
What do you want to end up with when all is said and done?
Vista??
Or Windows 7?
Pick one. Not two.
