Win 7 ultimate x64 sp1
 
 

pentium D 930 at 3 GHz. works fine for me with win7 x64. cpu cost me $15 on epray, replaced a 2.8 GHz Pentium D 820.

fast hard disk makes it appear zippier. i'm not a heavy gamer either.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64, & Mac OS X 10.9.2
 
 

LGA 1155 Core i5 2500k. I only use my pc for playing games, so anything else is over kill, hyper threading wont impact gaming performance.. well unless its shogun 2 or the new operation flashpoint.. as only they make the use of more then 4 cores..

I just want to see what everyone is using and prefers. Personally I use western digital and seagate both. I have actually never had a seagate fail on me but I have had a western digital fail once just tonight so I rely on both as they are both pretty good brands. Brands I would avoid though...
