Device and Printers

Before I installed a program called "Advanced SystemCare V5" when I clicked on Device and Printers I could view all the devices and printers connected to my computer. Now before I go any further, everything works just fine. In fact everything shows up in the the device manager. After I installed this program nothing is listed, even tho things still work just fine. I uninstalled this program and still nothing is listed. So what can I do to view all the devices and printers again?

Tim,
Just go into Devices and Printers and ADD your printer

Do you still have the software for your printer?
If so try installing it and see if it shows up!

Go to the manufacture site of your printer and download their driver for your model.
Should have asked this from the git go!

I am closing down for the night but hang in there as others will chime in to help you out.

I will look for your reply. However, I think what I should do a re-install of windows/programs up to that point. Make an ISO of the system (been meaning to do this) and then install that last program. Another thing happen was that my cut and paste stop working as well. Could be a system problem.

If you do a clean install...Here is the correct way to do this.
Clean Install Windows 7

Keep in mind you may have to install all the drivers again....takes time!
Back up you system before proceeding.

Thanks for the info. My PC came from DELL, as I've done this several times before hand. However, I think an ISO copy and store away should save me time next time I do this right? I'm new to ISO and things.

Have you tried doing a system restore to a restore point before you added Advanced Systemcare?
